Terms And Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions constitute the agreement between you and Hatfield Taxis. By booking a taxi and using our service, you unconditionally accept the terms and conditions as listed in this agreement.

1. Definitions

 In this agreement, "Hatfield Taxis," "we," or "us" refer to the service provider. The terms "you" and "your" may apply to any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.

2. Booking 

2.1 You must allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure timely arrival, including airport transfers where you must adhere to flight check-in times. Hatfield Taxis is not responsible for delays due to your inability to allocate adequate travel time or your unavailability at the designated pickup time.

2.2 It is your responsibility to request a vehicle of suitable size for all passengers and luggage. Hatfield Taxis does not guarantee the carriage of excessive luggage. Please note that, irrespective of age, a child is considered a single passenger.

2.3 Passengers requiring wheelchair access should request this at the time of booking.

3. Prices & Payment 

3.1 Hatfield Taxis provides quotations based on information provided by you. Unless specified otherwise, all prices are exclusive of VAT, which will be added if applicable. We reserve the right to adjust the quoted price if there are significant changes to the itinerary.

3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time and airport parking costs. Additional waiting time will be charged at the standard Hatfield Taxis waiting rate. While we endeavor to monitor flight details and adjust our service for delays, it is not obligatory.

3.3 Upon accepting a quote from us, you will receive a booking confirmation. Please review this confirmation for accuracy. Failure to notify Hatfield Taxis of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs.

3.4 Payment for our services can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.

4. The Service

4.1 You are responsible for the behavior of all passengers during the journey. Charges may apply for vehicle soiling, damage, or negative impacts caused by passengers.

4.2 Eating, drinking, and smoking are prohibited in the vehicle.

4.3 All children in the vehicle should be appropriately restrained according to their height, weight, and age.

4.4 We are not authorized to carry more passengers than allowed by licensing or insurance.

5. Cancellations

5.1 If you need to cancel your booking with Hatfield Taxis, please do so as soon as possible. Cancellation after the vehicle has been dispatched may incur charges based on the time and distance covered by the driver up to the point of cancellation.

5.2 If you booked through our online system and cancel before the vehicle has been dispatched, a charge may be levied on the original payment.

6. Liability

6.1 While Hatfield Taxis makes every effort to ensure punctual arrival at your destination, we are not liable for losses due to delays beyond our control. There are no circumstances where Hatfield Taxis will be liable for any losses incurred by you or your business.

6.2 Your luggage is carried at your own risk.

6.3 If the vehicle breaks down during your journey with Hatfield Taxis, we will endeavor to provide an alternative vehicle to complete your journey as quickly as possible.

6.4 You will not indemnify Hatfield Taxis for any expenses, damages, costs, or losses arising from any omission or act by anyone in your party.

6.5 No party involved can exclude or limit their liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or any other matter deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.

7. Termination

7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any passenger places a vehicle or driver at risk through abuse, violence, or damage. No refunds will be issued for terminated journeys.

8. Miscellaneous

8.1 Hatfield Taxis may subcontract its obligations as stated in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement.

8.2 Hatfield Taxis may alter the terms and conditions at any time by making changes to this page. Please regularly review these terms and conditions to stay informed of any changes. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect at the time of booking.

8.3 We handle information in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.

8.4 This agreement constitutes the full agreement between Hatfield Taxis and yourself.

8.5 Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to confer any benefit on a third party. Third parties have no right to enforce rights under this agreement unless a written agreement is established.

9. Disputes 

Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Hatfield Taxis is not obligated to consider claims or disputes submitted after this timeframe.
